Amplifying Jesus

Whether in the mainstream music or Christian world, Jesus is being hyped up in many realms of society now more then ever in the twenty first century. He is becoming a common topic for several artists, the focal point in multiple social issues and is clearly just as present now as He has been in the past. Whether through music or not, Christians in modern times want Him acknowledged. Therefore, the goal for many artists today is "...To reach out to people who may never step into a church, by putting Godly role models into the music they are already listening to" (Resound Living, 1). For many Christians in the world today, the world has a lot of repenting to do and music is an excellent modern vehicle to bring people back to the church and acknowledge Jesus as the one true savior (Jesus is Savior, 1). For all intensive purposes, even though his presence has never really faultered, Jesus is making a comeback.
